"FEAST!" is a musical creative outlet for drummer Tom Coyne and his various collaborators around the globe. There are no permanent members. No limits on style, ideas or content. No pressure. Just music for the sake of music.


This first track is a collaboration between Coyne (45 Grave/The Last Dance/Kommunity FK/ Pendejos of Doom) and Oklahoma based couple Mario and Heather Macias.

This piece started as a drum solo, which the Macias' added to in April of 2020. This is their first recorded work together since meeting in 1992.

FEAST! began in 1995 as a drum/vocal duo along the lines of the The Creatures, the Siouxsie and the Banshees side project. The drumming is heavily inspired by Terry Bozzio's melodic/ostinato playing in the 1990's.

Heather and Tom were in a band in 1992 called "Anno Violaceus" which was very Dead Can Dance and Cocteau Twins influenced. All of those influences are heard in "Melech Malchei Ha'melechim".

The drums were recorded in August of 2019 at Dave Klein Recording in Huntington Park, CA. The tracks were sent to Heather and Mario via the internet in April of 2020. They took only a few weeks to come up with the music. It was mixed in May 2020 by Dave Klein.

"Melech Malchei Ha'melechim" is Hebrew for 'King of Kings'. The Hebrew sung lyrics spotlight Mario and Heather's Jewish heritage.

This is the first of several "internet collaborations" Tom Coyne has in the works with various artists. Each artist is given a complete drum track and is given free reign to do what they please. The results should be very interesting!

Feast! is the brainchild of drummer Tom Coyne.
